The new e-commerce website, a purpose built application based on Zend Framework, features many innovative solutions to process inbound product feeds and customer orders. The whole website has been designed to run automatically with minimal intervention. Supplier product feeds are processed once a day to update prices and stock availability. Stock updates are run throughout the day in order to give customers the latest availability information on all projector lamps. The site also generates a Google product feed and site map.
